It is based on people's longing for the graphics, visual design will have a cross-design impact can not be underestimated. Personally think that interactive design in the relevant part of interest, the visual should be an important reference factor. Such as the color of the control, the typography of the layout, the way the link display and so on.
The length of time
Internet interaction design and daily necessities interactive design of an important difference, but also the concept of time between the two. In reality, time is an important cost, often affecting people's decisions and emotions. Network environment, physical and interpersonal burden is fully weakened, most of the time is only personal mental costs. If the demand and interest convergence of the good, time can even be ignored.
Do not say that this extreme example of the game, the usual product loading time, for example, if the interest-oriented processing (progress bar and mini funnel and other time calculation tools belong to this column, and preloading belongs to the demand convergence), the user also Will not produce too much complain. Involving the search, search, browse and other attention to the situation, the user is almost only concerned about the item and not concerned about the time for better user experience.
It should be noted that the process of relatively strong tasks, start and end should have a clear prompt to prevent attention to overflow, resulting in unnecessary energy loss.

Learn from windows phone
One of the biggest features of Windows Phone is that the main page is built from a square or rectangular "tile". Tiles can be more than just an icon, it can also carry some of the information you want to display to the user, so the rational use of tiles can show the information will give us a lot of design applications, in the user a lot of choices stand out.
The most basic, you can like the system comes with the SMS function, as a number of unread messages to provide the number of tips.
Slightly complicated, you can display some static or dynamic pictures in the tile, text messages. But to note that, Windows Phone design principle is simple, large color with less color display content is more in line with the overall style of the system, if the tile design is too fancy and complex to a little deviate from the original design , And placed in the main interface may not have a particularly good visual effects for better user experience.

introductions of products
In addition to the introduction of some product features, the promotion is to convey the product's attitude, so that users understand the feelings of this product, and consider the whole product style, the company's image is consistent. This type of guide page if you do not be attractive, the user will only impatient to quickly crossed. And the production of sophisticated, interesting guide page, the user will stop to watch for better user experience.
Taobao travel, for example, Taobao travel through the fresh, life of the scene illustrations to create a product is a music to enjoy life, followed by the feeling of travel applications, before you travel to help you plan all the itinerary, as long as a suitcase , Said go away, and the concept of the product fit. And another application, the choice of quiet, comfortable photos with simple text to render the product tone.

default value of user experience
In the interactive ui design process involves the default system default value, it plays a guide, remediation, publicity and so on. The word "default" comes from the terminology of the engineer, because the system has a lot of default operations, such as front-end reconstruction CSS default font is Arial. In the above example, the interaction between the thermostat and the human body has a default value: 38 degrees. This value as a default, reduce the user operating learning costs; forward to lower the temperature, raise the temperature back, play a benchmark role. Through the "default value" to achieve the interactive design easy to take, flexible and efficient, humane principles of user experiene.
With the default value of the user will not feel panic, that is, to the user a normal, in reality we can see such an example, the default value is on the insurance - security, the computer default is off - province Electricity. This kind of normal in the Internet to play a role in the role, such as the default site will always choose to accept the skin, the user did not pay attention to this will have been used to feel can be amended, but not a default value to the user To choose, greatly increase learning costs.

thoughts about user experience
With the deepening of user experience design work, you will find that there are many problems will return to the user and the demand above. Only the various stages of the user experience, channels and contacts to conduct a comprehensive study and analysis, to understand the needs of the target users, behavior and ideas in order to provide the most suitable solution. The quality of the user experience design depends largely on how deep our understanding of the target user is, rather than the interface interaction or visual design.
"Product Design (PD) + User Experience Design (UXD)" The role of division of labor is wrong, because the user experience design work itself already contains the product, system and service design. Will be "product design" and "user experience design" separately, the user experience design work can not be developed from the strategic level, the so-called user experience design is often limited to solve the usability problem and how to better meet the target user's aesthetic problems Just now. At the same time, "product design + experience design" the role of division of labor led to the role of overlap is very serious, the result is inefficient, floating in the phenomenon often occur. This is particularly touching me, and the mix of product designers / product planners and user experience designers is really terrible: the two roles are racking their brains to gather solutions, but never the purpose (the reason and the meaning of doing this) The goal (expect to what extent, how to measure) to spend more time to think clearly, the function done a bunch, but in vain.

how to increase user experience
In Sato's book, it is possible to find the most appropriate way of expression by constantly listening and thoroughly sorting on the subject and the intended content. The prerequisite for this situation is the other side of the improvement of their own products have a clear direction to know what they want, to understand the existence of this situation is likely to be what is the reason; there may be another situation is the other side do not know Their own product development direction, then this time on the need to often put forward the hypothesis to each other, by constantly asking, and gradually find each other's hearts of the image, so that the other side of the unconscious to conscious. This situation is also often in our design process, the demand side is not clear what they need is what kind of effect, this time more need to first listen to their demands, and then through continuous rhetoric to determine the final appeal , The early communication is not in place, the back of the work may encounter a lot of unnecessary difficulties. This point in the process of modification will often encounter, simply modify the color, size, change the location is only in accordance with their own experience to propose changes to the program, not necessarily the best solution ... As a result of repeated amendments to the final draft, Perhaps not the effect you want to start, but look at all the information points, whether it is the best way to express. When thoughts encounter bottlenecks, feel difficult to communicate, try to change the perspective of observation, there may be unexpected results.
Complete a work, the demand for your design can not start to understand that this time to make your design language is particularly important for user experience, and strive to improve language skills, so that their design instructions specialization. Of course, the result of the design is not to convince others, but to cause the resonance of others, timely consciousness to persuade each other, it will inevitably lead to each other in the future conflict.

Think before action
Think before action, it sounds right, is not it? Think clearly before ui design. Yes, do some research, study more needs, users, scenarios, and then design. It sounds right, and why is it (Donald. Norman) to challenge the reason for this inherent thinking. However, the first to do it, and then carefully think, sometimes it is also reasonable to do so.
In the real world of product development, time is always very tight, the budget is always limited. So a lot of time in the study on the basis of the design is impossible things. "Yes," said the product manager. "I know we should do some research first, but we do not have time.We have been planning a long schedule, but will we go to the next project and do it?" The next time it never happened. The next project was time to start. In fact, let me create a guideline:
Norman's product development guidelines: the beginning of the project is always behind the plan and beyond the budget.
We always educate others about the importance of doing research and then experiencing ideas, models, and repetitive processes for better user experience. Most of us like this method, I am also, and I teach others so much. But when the reality indicates that we can not do that, these doctrines become meaningless. If we had never had enough time to carry out the research, why should we promote such an unrealistic way? We need to adjust our approach to reality, rather than some high-sounding, can only be applied in the ideal world of paper on the theory. We have to develop some flexible design strategy.

Service design's development process
China may be relatively few people heard the concept of service design, in fact, service design has been decades of development history, mainly in Europe and the United States.
In 1984, Shostack G. Lynn in the "Harvard Business Review" published in the paper "Designing Service", the first combination of services and design for the development of service design kicked off.
In 1991, Bill Hillins and his wife in their common book "Total Design", Service Design word first appeared in front of people.
The development and application of service design, mainly due to IDEO, Frog Design, the United Kingdom and Germany, a number of public design agencies, Cologne International Design Institute and others follow suit.
Service design more and more attention, in addition to the design companies and institutions of its research and popular contribution, which also has its historical inevitability.
In the past industrial age, due to the economic backwardness and lack of materials, the services provided by public institutions can only meet the "useful" and "available" needs, the basic guarantee that the service can be implemented as the goal of the ruler, and on this service The experience is inevitably ignored. With the development of the times, in the past, the industrial era followed the service did not catch up with the pace of economic development, there are still a lot of ills, people's pursuit of quality of life continues to improve, for the service, just "useful" "available" Can not meet the needs of people's user experience, more need to meet the "easy to use" "commonly used" "hi with" needs.
Therefore, the service ui design in the history of the wheel driven by the enthusiasm and people driven, is moving forward quickly.

differences between product designer and ux designer
The product designer is a word that is used to describe the appearance and feel of the product.
The role of the product designer is not clearly defined and each company is different. Product designers may do a small amount of front-end programming, user research, design interfaces, or create visual components. From the beginning to the end, the product designer helps to point out the initial problem and set the indicators to support it, and then design, test, and repeat on different scenarios. Some companies want to collaborate more flexibly on different design roles to encourage the entire design team to bring together their own user experience, user research and ui design elements.
Some companies use "UX designers" or simple "designers" as general terms. The best way to understand the responsibility of a company's design team is to read the job requirements.

user experience is a integrated process
I understand the user experience, is to allow users to pay the minimum cost to meet the largest demand.
User experience can not be measured as a whole method of the overall, only in the understanding of the whole picture under the premise of evaluation of decomposition properties.
I only provide some reference for the experience of the search field.
User experience is a complete process 2004 Google on the eve of the Internet Queen MaryMeeker visit China through Baidu, she said Morgan Stanley colleagues have just done a search engine comparison evaluation, the evaluation results are Yahoo best.
But the strange thing is, after the evaluation, we usually use Google. Later, Baidu co-founder Xu Yong helped me to come to their evaluation of the sample, it is easy to understand, the original is this way: they selected a dozen keywords in Google / Yahoo and other six search engines search, Print out all the search results page together, each get a coin, think which search results page better cast a coin. Finally Yahoo won.
Why would Yahoo win? Because Yahoo is using the background search engine is Google, but some of their popular keywords to do the manual optimization, so that Yahoo's search results are not the same with Google, is better than Google. Why the financial elite after the evaluation of the daily life and work with Google? Because this seemingly just user experience evaluation is a problem, the user experience is not only a simple comparison of the search results page.
For example, the printing page on the table is worthwhile, but on the computer, you want to see those search results page, the user needs to pay an operation process: from the input domain name, download the size difference of ten times the Yahoo / Google homepage, move the mouse to Yahoo's search box (Google is automatically located in the search box), enter the keyword, enter or click the search button, download Yahoo / Google several times the size of the search results page. The above process, the user needs to pay the time cost and operating costs are different, especially when the average bandwidth is still very small. For example, the print page on the table can see the whole picture, and the real user needs to browse the search results page in a computer screen. If you browse the Yahoo search results page at a lower resolution, you may see only one or two results after crossing the Banner ad and the loose design, and you can see a few more results by browsing the Google search results page. When the first search results did not meet the needs of users (this situation is very common), the first screen more than a few results to see is a significant difference in user experience.
I remember the same results as the number of search results page, Yahoo's page much longer than Google, which is to increase the cost of the user. For example, when the first page of the search results did not meet the needs of users (this situation is also very common), the user may / turn down / click on the relevant search words / for a keyword search / for a search engine /. Another common situation is that users need to use a variety of vertical search. Then, the page size of the search box, the size of the search box (Google then a little bigger), whether the bottom of the results page to put the search box, the type of vertical search and experience, and so on additional options, seemingly nothing to do with the print results page on the table, but "common "The impact of the user experience.
So, Yahoo's search results page correlation is always better than or equal to Google, but the user experience is actually not as good as Google's. User experience is not a static page, but a process, to combine the user's real use of the process to evaluate.

two steps for better ui design
1. Whiteboard
If we want to add a new feature or redesign a process we sit down and everybody at the meeting starts sketching ideas on a whiteboard, paper or even an iPad. This action allows us to put everyone on the team in the designer’s position. Later we end up with two ui design options to see which one works the best.
We always try to go through the whole experience and discuss most of the edge cases during this part of the process. It is really crucial to address them now as opposed to during the design phase, or even worse, during the development part. That’s when you can lose a lot time and energy.
2. Map out all of your screens (what data a user needs to input)
This is the time to go beyond the whiteboard and list out all of the user’s inputs and stories. Write down what exactly a user should insert into a particular screen and how a user can achieve their desired goals.

prototypes on Ui stage
The prototypes on UI stage are created more for presentation of application general looks than for testing and improving its functional features.
And this is the trap in which it is easier to be confused. Prototyping all the details on the final stage of UI in most cases is not so reasonable as it could seem.
It will be too time-consuming and in this perspective, it would be better to spend the same time on coding a demo-version.
Moreover, usability should be thoroughly checked first of all at the UX stage, otherwise it would be much harder to change inefficient solution after having accomplished a lot of work on UI.
Certainly, it would be amazing to create prototypes both for UX and UI, but by far not all the designers and customers agree to spend so much time on design tasks and want to test and improve the design much faster and cheaper for better user experience.

Responsive UX Design
We can't ignore the importance of responsive ux design when we talk
about flat designs.
A reason why flat design became a very popular trend within past few years is the growth of responsive ux design. As we know, more and more devices are connecting with the Web these days with all kinds of screen sizes and browsers. ux Designers are working hard to make their old design styles that were dependent on textures, drop shadows, and fixed images into smaller and smaller parts which can be easily seen through every screen size and browser. Flat design makes it very easy for the web design to become well-organized.
Without adding any extra design element on the website, a website can load in a much faster time and can be easily resized automatically according to user's browser for user experience. This also has much to do with our screens that are becoming more and more high definition and require the image to be crisp and clean. It is easy for the screens to display to crisp boxes and clean typography than trying to do various changes in order to make the image according to the screen size.

Minimalist UX Design
A major influence of flat Web design can also be traced in the
history of Minimalism ux design. The term minimalism is nowadays used as
interchangeable term with flat design; however the word minimalism was
famous even before the Web industry was established. Minimalism in the
past was used in the architecture, visual art and designing.
Minimalism as we know has a very broad history which covers different mediums. But the medium, through which flat design takes influence, is the visual art expression and design of minimalism. Minimal design is a very famous for eliminating all things in a piece and only leaving what is essential and the most required elements. Statistical shapes, essential elements, bright colors and nice lines control the whole minimal style of design for user experience.
Consequently it’s not incorrect to say that combining both Swiss design and Minimal design has a vast influence on the current look of ‘flat design’.

Color Accents & Trends of ux design
One of the most specific features of flat ux design, apart from shapes, is the use of color. Most color palettes for flat-style elements consist of a few basic colors. Bright, bold, vibrant, saturated colors are significant for flat ux design.
If you’re an experienced ux designer and you have an eye for the right color palettes, you can play around with the Color panel of Photoshop or Illustrator, picking the colors just by guesswork. However, this process requires intuition, practice, and good skills. And there are some tools that may be handy for building a proper palette .
Some of them are suitable for all kinds of design and illustrations, not only for flat design. Those are such services as Adobe Color CC, previously known as Kuler. Now you can access it through the website or directly from Adobe products. It is a very flexible tool, which allows you to make up your own palette or use a wide range of user-made palettes from the library.

Keep ux design Simple
Flat ux design is obviously named for its absence of three-dimensional
elements and effects, such as gradients, textures, highlights, overtones
and shadows. Flat style is a two-dimensional way of object
visualization. Apart from that, complex objects tend to be very
simplified and stylized. Sometimes we depict only the silhouettes or the
outlines that make the actual object recognizable, without minor
details,it provide a great user experience.
Minimalism is a global trend nowadays every ux designer should deeply know, and such simplicity of forms and use of sharp edges emphasize neat and visually appealing design. Simple forms are more comprehensible and easy to perceive. They really make a design piece look minimalistic and clean, avoiding a busy and cluttered look.

How to study ux design?
To briefly sum up, training yourself in illustration like this you are recommended:
to practice live and real hand-drawing and sketching on the real basis;
to try drawing and painting with different materials and in different techniques - this creates feeling of the materials and textures and helps to create more natural and harmonic digital images;
to follow the latest trends in art and digital ux design, interface design, branding and so on if you want to keep creating trendy looks of your works;
to get inspired both from classic arts and modern art, in particular graphic ux designer;
to try copying the works of masters you really like to feel the technique and secrets of practical use of software, composition, style and so on. Not for real projects, but for personal professional self-development to improve user experience;

how ux design effect the digital era
Ux design has a number of benefits determining its popularity and
diversity in digital design which influenced the trends of modern print
design as well. Among the most significant of them, we would mention:
- readability and legibility
- clear visual hierarchy via shapes, colors and fonts
- effective support of quick and intuitive navigation in web and mobile user experience
- easy adjustability in terms of adaptive and responsive ux design
- effective legibility on various screens
- being easier for developers and usually presents less load for the digital system.

How to sharp user experience
If you are trying to tell the user important information, don't put it in a place that the user has to make an extra click to find.it's not user experience friendly.
They are not mobile friendly at all and, if anything, they just hide content from the user.
Performance wise as well they serve little to no benefit because you are still loading all the content.
Ever since smartphones and mobile-responsive ux design became more necessary, users began getting accustomed to simply scrolling down.
Nobody wants to stop in the middle and swipe left and right to learn more! They just want to keep going😀.

Why don't IOS apps have a 'close' button?
This is strange as the eye from ux design. Do you know why IOS apps don't have a 'close' button?
The major mobile touch screen operating systems (iOS, Windows Phone 7, Android) don't trouble the user with "closing" applications in the way that desktop applications do. This simplifies the user experience, making applications appear seamlessly built into the operating system.
Typically, applications on these operating systems will "pause" when the user returns to another application or the home screen, using no CPU time but remaining "asleep" in memory. If the current application needs more memory, the operating system closes down the least used application, freeing up memory that can be used by the foreground application.
The answer is: you simply don't need to close applications manually on modern mobile operating systems.

Communicating effectively
as an ux designer,it is your job to communicate the information your users want in the quickest, most effective way possible.
Video and images are very effective forms of communication. Study well designed websites and see how they frequently use images and icons to communicate.
Don’t make your users work any harder than necessary, this can improve user exprience. Most users scan websites rather than read them. Give each section of the page a heading, so users can quickly scan to the section they’re interested in. Make sure you keep your headings short and sweet. Experiment until you have effectively communicated what you’re trying to say in the simplest way possible.

We need revising
When reviewing portfolios or interviewing candidates, it’s always important to ask, “What would you have done differently?” when posing questions about their work. This provides a lot of insight into how they think about design. I have a list for every project I’ve worked on of things I would have liked to fix, adjust, or test for new solutions. A great UI designer knows the job is never done.
The importance of excxuting
An artist
who doesn't know how to paint isn't an artist at all. Great UX designer are masters of their tools and craft, and should be able to
provide qualified solutions to your users’ problems to improve user experience. On their resumes,
designers will list the software and technologies they know, such as:
And while knowing software and coding languages is crucial in creating the deliverables you'll need for your team, a great UI designer will be able to execute their ideas with justification and validation.
This goes back to communication. A great designer clearly communicates the needs of the users. Then they apply their findings to the designs they create while talking with users to gather feedback — it’s a continuous loop of communication as designs are executed.
While ux design is a comprehensive project, only if you execute resolutely you can make a perfect work!
- Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Other cool things

How to motivate visitors to comment?
When we browse a website or a blog.Sometimes we may make some comments. So,if I am the host of blog or website. How to motivate vistors to comment and increase user experience?
Actually, commenting is all about context. A few examples of websites encouraging people to generate content.
Actually, commenting is all about context. A few examples of websites encouraging people to generate content.
- On a social platform like Facebook, asking "What's on your mind?" in the new-status box is an interactive, clear and concise way to hint as to what is to be written.
- On a knowledge-sharing, social platform like Quora, indicating topics of interest to the users is likely to prove as motivation to the users to write an answer.
- Medium has a unique commenting interface wherein people don't comment on the entire article as a whole but instead comment on particular sections or snippets
- Reddit has a similar strategy in place for those wanting to comment on specific clippings. Selecting some text and then pressing reply will quote the original text with the users reply beneath.
- And so on
So, when we take ux design into consideration, summarising:
- The key here is being interactive
- People like to share opinions. Encourage that behaviour within your articles (you could include an opinion of yours in the article and ask people who differ to state in the comments their reasons for that) (this could be difficult in a technical IT blog, but not impossible).
The empty space of the website
When you browse a website. Do you ever find many web have empty space for the both sides like this?
But there are still some website don't leave empty space like amazon.
The webistes like amazon are very few.But why?
There are many reasons, but the main ones are visual cluttering and hierarchy of information on one side, and structural consistency on the UI Design.
On the other hand, as a ux designer speaking for the sites I've made: we didn't design for large width display. The costs of designing and developing a responsive and scalable website across desktop and mobile are already quite high. Our analytics show that 90%+ of our users view our site in <1400 px wide resolution.
At the end of the day, it's not worth it to spend the time and money designing and implementing for the <10% of users who browse our sites at >1400px wide resolution.
finally, normally the readable area of a paragraph should be no wider than an average sized hand.

User Interface Design
ui design, in large part is to explore how to make the product interface more usability, how to let users have a better experience. This is an optimized interface, through this interface, the user can more complete the task, get a good feeling.
For example: a button design, art design to consider how good-looking, and user interface designers are considering how to place the button, the above shows what text, or even in the end whether the button problem.
so,if you have the right choice,it will bring wonderful user experience to your customers!

five levels of improving user experience
Strategic level - site goals and user needs
A successful user experience is based on a well-articulated "strategy." Know business and users on both expectations and goals of the site, help to establish user experience in all aspects of strategy development.Scope Layer - Functional specifications and content requirementsWith a clear understanding of what we want and what our users want, we can figure out how to meet the goals of all these strategies. When the user needs and goals into Web sites should be provided to the user what kind of content and functionality, the strategy becomes a range.Structure Layer - Interaction Design and Information ArchitectureAfter collecting the user requirements and prioritizing them, we have a clear idea of what features will be included in the final product. However, these requirements do not show how these fragmented fragments can be grouped together. This is the top layer of the scope layer: Create a conceptual structure for the site.Framework layer - interface design, navigation design and information designThere is a great deal of demand in the conceptual architecture that begins with our strategic goals. In the framework of the framework, we have to further refine these structures, to determine a very detailed interface appearance, navigation and information design, which can become more real structure.
Presentation Layer - Visual DesignAt the top of this five-tier model, we turn our attention to those aspects of the site that the user will notice first: ui design, where content, functionality and aesthetics are brought together to produce a final design that will satisfy the other four dimensions Of all targets.
if you can accomplish all of these levels, your user experience will be excellent!
